About the Role DoorDash is looking for a Director of Trust & Safety and Rapid Response Communications to lead our trust and safety-focused storytelling and PR strategies around high profile and developing situations related to the Trust & Safety efforts impacting and shaping the DoorDash community. You will partner with a variety of team members and functions across the organization to highlight DoorDash's investment in keeping its global community safe and informed. This role will report to the Global Head of Public Affairs. You're excited about this opportunity because you will Drive the communications strategy and narrative development surrounding DoorDash's Trust & Safety efforts, demonstrating our commitment to supporting and advancing safety for our entire community. Serve as rapid response and crisis communications lead, owning reactive strategy and execution around a variety of issues impacting DoorDash and those we serve. Help develop proactive and strategic safety campaigns and stories that further our business and policy objectives, while showcasing our industry leadership in safety and trust. Serve as spokesperson and build and leverage relationships with important business, policy, tech and trade media and stakeholders to secure stories that highlight our commitment to safety, the value we provide, and multiple initiatives focused on furthering our Trust & Safety story. Be a strategic advisor to DoorDash leaders while identifying risks and mitigation opportunities, and where to engage internal resources in supporting our Trust & Safety narratives. Work with our Trust & Safety, Policy, Product, and Strategy & Operations teams, among others, to help create, collaborate on, and implement safety-focused, reputation-building programs and activities. Establish processes to connect global PR teams and agencies to best practices and core messaging from our efforts in the United States. We're excited about you because You have 10
years of relevant communication, public relations, and crisis management experience, with expertise engaging media directly. You have deep experience developing and executing strategic and crisis communications programs and navigating sensitive and high-stakes issues, guiding the business to a resolution. You understand the role that communications plays in helping advance policy and business priorities at the international, national, and local levels. You excel at making room at the table and creating positive and collaborative environments for both internal and external agencies and teammates. You've demonstrated senior leadership executing crisis communications plans in a complex organization with varied priorities and stakeholders. You are comfortable advising senior leadership and executives. You have excellent people skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines. You have experience working in fast-paced, fluid and challenging environments, and are familiar with the tech space and related issues. You take your work, but not yourself, seriously--and maintain a good sense of humor about both.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
