Sr. Financial Analyst at Public Consulting Group in Remote

This position will report directly to the Education Practice Area's Senior Finance Manager and work with senior members of the management team across the Practice Area. The position will play a leadership role in the financial management of the Education Practice Area including but not limited to managing the operational impacts of a new accounting system migration, development and presentation of annual budgets, reviewing pricing proposals and managing financial activities of key large projects. Responsibilities Gathers input and data from many sources to prepare budgets, forecasts, and analyses supporting the needs of financial planning and ongoing business operations Supports business teams with pricing analysis and strategy Support consultant staff in the development and maintenance of project and program budgets including template development, data collection, input and reforecasting Serves as liaison between corporate finance and business operations teams Develops tools, documents, and guidelines to manage company financial planning processes Help manage business operations through an accounting system migration to Workday Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommends accounting and financial reporting process improvement Play a leadership role in the financial management of the practice area Support management team in achieving business objectives including development of reporting tools and KPI's Create meaningful ad-hoc financial reporting to help drive project and business level decisions. Provide clear, thorough, and consistent analysis of internal and external trends, program performance, competitive context, market opportunities, and potential risks; Develops financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI Qualifications Skills:
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data efficiently and effectively Ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative data and present summary information to leadership, both verbally and in written presentations Detail and process improvement oriented. Self-motivated go-getter that works well independently and as part of a team Ability to work well in an evolving environment Ability to form and develop relationships with a wide variety of functional roles and organizational levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to compose and present reports, findings and presentations. Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely delivery to senior management. Excellent organizational, oral presentation, and written communication skills Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Workday experience preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required, Working towards or completed CPA or MBA preferred

years' experience in accounting and/or finance
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
