Solutions Strategist

The ITOA Practitioner is an expert, researcher, and leader. We drive customer success and ITOA innovation around Splunk's products, customers, partners, and in the worldwide data driven IT community. The ITOA Practice partners with the SVP ITOA Markets and VPs of Splunk technical field to drive ITOA opportunities and strategic initiatives both directly and through leading ITOA subject matter experts. Must have a deep technical capability in at least one of the following:
IT Service Management, IT Operational Intelligence, Application Management, and/or DevOps. The Practitioner will engage with customers and partners to deliver cutting edge integrations and capabilities, with an eye towards influencing the company roadmap. They will attempt novel use cases and, when successful, work cross- functionally to enable a repeatable sales practice. This role facilitates field and partner enablement and helps ensure alignment of execution of a use case from discovery to delivery. The successful candidate should be capable of communicating at an executive level as a trusted advisor, as well as managing executing on a deep technical level with analysts for ITOA use cases. The Practitioner will spend 50% of their time working with customers on ITOA use cases in a pre or post sales capacity. The other 50% of the time will be focused on identifying and driving ITOA innovation with corporate, new use case definition and ensuring broader field readiness. The Practice engagement model resides in the Sales organization. This role is Global, reflecting up to 50% travel at peak times. Location:
Position could be located anywhere in the United States ITOA Practice Manager Provide leadership on ITOA as a practice, in IT, Sales, Product, and for the company. Interview ITOA leaders for all areas of the business, and contribute to the overall business through thought leadership. Customer Success Act as the leader of subject matter expertise for Splunk field teams and partners/channel Assist SE Specialists in delivering training to the extended technical sales force Provide technical oversight and strategic alignment over complex ITOA deployments Test and execute the ITOA go-to market strategies proposed by the IT Markets group Drive opportunities in new ITOA use cases during all parts of the sales cycle alongside Splunk and partner technical staff Research and Development Design and build customer use cases in the field. Provide detailed use case feedback to product management and engineering leadership Rapid prototyping design for top Splunk ITOA customers as needed Participate in strategic and market planning sessions with product management/marketing Assist with Splunk beta and early adopter programs as a technical expert Advisory Services Deliver advisory sessions for top customers on cutting edge ITOA use cases and the value of machine data for operational excellence Lead a team of Splunk and Partner technical experts in the design phase of major projects. Work with top technology partners on strategic and architectural alignment between products Community/Evangelism Help drive community interaction and promote Splunk through:
Trade shows Speaking engagements Grass roots interactions (leveraging ITOA relationships) User Groups Publish Splunk blogs and participate in online IT communities as appropriate Qualifications Minimum of 10
years or work experience in IT Operations Software Capable of leading geographically diverse teams virtually. Demonstrated subject matter expertise in enterprise IT technologies. Previous experience as a practitioner in a specific discipline in either a research, consulting or operations role is required. At least 5 years of consulting experience in various capacities doing service delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Capable of building compelling technology demonstrations for sales. Experience as an educator, technical trainer or technical writer. Capable problem determination/troubleshooting capacity in complex environments Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience. Certification in multiple enterprise technologies highly desirable ITIL certification or equivalent desirable.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K

Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
