IT Security Manager
About the Position The Golden State Warriors are looking for an IT Security Manager to assist with the maintenance of various technology disciplines and experiences, including the design of security architecture for networks, platforms, and applications. In this role, you will provide input regarding the strategic, tactical, and IT operation plans to help determine emerging IT security direction, policy, standards, and objectives. You will lead departmental audits (e.g., PCI DSS and Cyber Security controls) while providing direct support to departmental team members and propose efforts to meet customer business needs. Additionally, you will participate in IT projects and recommend security strategies for application design and deployment. This position reports to the Director, IT Operations. This is full-time position based in San Francisco, CA. Willingness and ability to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination (including booster, if eligible) will be required. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation, monitoring and enforcement of information security policies across the organization Assess and analyze current technology architecture for security vulnerabilities Identify process improvement opportunities and develop plans of action to resolve gaps; implement technological upgrades and changes to the information security environment Manage information security projects as assigned, including the evaluation of any new applications and vendors for IT security adequacy Manage, develop and present information security awareness training to staff Develop and communicate information security goals and new programs with other department managers across the organization Oversee internal and 3rd party information security audits Maintain relationships with outside security firms that can assist with compliance audits and 3rd party security reviews Develop, collaborate and review security documentation Identify IT security requirements and recommend feasible technologies Serve as a focal point of contact for the information security team and the organization Drive the company's assessment process Understand and ensure PCI compliance requirements are effectively implemented Manage IT security staff Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business Information Systems, or equivalent work experience Security+, CISSP certifications preferred Minimum 5 years in an IT role working with IT security-related processes, policies, and procedures, including analyzing and providing direct end-user support, and operational security controls Minimum 3 years using Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), data and system integrity control, security audit and event management In-depth knowledge of network firewalls, email security gateways, SIEM, Endpoint Protection, encryption, Cloud Security, and IDS/IPS concepts Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), VPN technologies, security monitoring applications, and computer network penetration testing and techniques Strong familiarity with network security concepts, technologies and trends Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and resolution skills Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, small company atmosphere High degree of integrity, discretion, professionalism, and accountability to achieve quality results Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, particularly during Warriors home games (i.e. evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours) Special Consideration Retail and/or entertainment environment support experience Scripting, programming, and automation skills (Python, Powershell, Java, etc.)
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
