0 5 hours ago Full Job Description Datavant is a rapidly growing healthcare technology company with a mission to connect the world's health data.
By eliminating data silos in the healthcare industry, we aim to unlock opportunities to accelerate clinical data exchange, medical research, and help organizations design better ways to facilitate access, affordability, and quality of care leading to better patient outcomes.
By joining Datavant today, you're stepping onto a highly collaborative, fully remote team that is passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare.
We look for people who are smart, nice and get things done.
We invest in our people and believe in hiring for high-potential and humble individuals who can rapidly grow their responsibilities as the company scales.
Datavant is a distributed, remote-first team (no office locations) and we empower Datavanters to shape their working environment in a way that suits their needs - learn more here! The Job Datavant Ciox has two sides of its business, and this listing is focused on our Identified Data service & products; We are modernizing and expanding a powerful legacy manual record retrieval service network, and data governance platform.
Ex.
A person, provider, or business entity needs a medical record for various reasons - and our company can retrieve it for you at scale across many health systems throughout the United States; and we also help health systems release said information, understand where it's going or not going, while staying compliant.
Practically, we're talking about common modernization project initiatives (retiring old products, replacing them, introducing digitization via APIs, change management of users, and attempting to enhance the experience with modern tech stack and UX principles).
Once these things are achieved, the data network that will exist will gradually unlock many future opportunities for the different industries we're supporting; If we solve this challenge, we'll unlock the ability for patients to get their records in seconds, for life sciences companies to fully track and understand the impact of new therapies, and for providers to be able to see their patient's full medical history and recommend the right treatment at the right time.
As a Service Design Lead for Internal Ops you will be responsible for the designed experience that powers the internal operations of the business to become not just more productive, but unlocking their ability to provide a better customer's experience interacting with our service staff.
Internal Operations teams are the dedicated and hardworking backbone of our record retrieval service.
There's a lot of room for improvement here, and they need your help! Designers that love juicy backstage / ops and customer relationship management / change management problems - check us out.

document assumptions, isolate what's testable, push for measurable success metrics and keep us accountable with tracking via analytics Challenging teams to validate concepts in a nimble way (ie.
hacking ideas using off the shelf tools) to optimize for learning, before sending engineers off to code Work within an ambiguous environment, truly, one day you may have a clear requirements document and another you will have to piece it together; or sometimes when you think a process should be documented already - you will get to be the one to do it for the first time Daily expectations Collaborating with several internal facing product teams (product manager, engineering managers, front end and full stack engineers) Recruiting, scheduling internal users for interviews or usability tests Documenting knowledge and reasoning for decision making Self driven time management - you'll have guidance on high level prioritization - but after that you'll be on the hook to figure out how to get it all done Support for a growing/maturing design competency within our organization (from lunch and learns about the customer, design crits, contributing to a cross-team front end component library, etc) Qualifications Min years
