What you'll be doing:
We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial minded business Operations Director to work onsite in San Francisco for a large (100
employees), full-service animal hospital.
You will be responsible for all non-clinical operations including but not limited to:
o Benefits administration ? Enrollment, payroll integration, change of life event management o Compliance ? Business and facility permitting ? Health & Safety inspections o Employment Agreement facilitation ? Gathers needed signatures and documents timely and appropriately.
? Documents any adds/edits in compensation plans for accurate processing.
o Payroll processing ? Commissions payout ? Expense reimbursement o Branding execution ? Internal hospital imagery ? Public facing marketing facilitation o Facilities maintenance management ? Vendor sourcing and pricing negotiation ? IT support coordination o Construction operations planning ? Works with Hospital Services Director to anticipate any disruption to clinical floor and create prevention plan ? Ensures appropriate POC are designated for construction team o Cleanliness ? Janitorial vendor management ? Presentation of client facing spaces o Accounts Payables ? Reconcile, approve and remit invoices for payment in timely fashion o Internal biz ops communications ? Communications system selection and utilization ? All written memos ? Meeting agendas and minutes o Client visits life cycle ? Builds, implements, and enforces cycle from check-in to check-out.
? Oversees direction of Customer Service Representative supervisor and team Creating and adhering to staffing budgets Meal period/OT management What you'll bring:
? 5-7 years of experience managing service-based operations with a team of 75
employees; start up experience highly preferred; veterinary experience NOT required ? Passion for helping pets and their humans alike; ? Ability to interact and communicate (verbally and non-verbally) with professionalism, empathy, and respect; ? Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an environment with evolving priorities; ? Strong sense of personal accountability and reliability; ? A customer-centric mindset; desire to deliver on and continually improve the pet and pet parent experience; ? Motivation; a self-starter with a do-whatever-it-takes mind-set to make the hospital successful; ?
