Come, unleash your potential with us! About You We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Doggy Daycare Attendant and Driver to join our reputable pet care service in San Francisco.
If you love working with dogs, have a strong understanding of pack dynamics and dog behavior, and enjoy providing a safe and nurturing environment for furry friends, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Safely pick up and drop off pets at their homes using our designated transportation vehicles Ensure the comfort and safety of dogs during transportation, following established protocols and safety measures Care for up to six dogs at a time, ensuring their well-being, happiness, and engagement throughout the day Supervise dog playgroups, promoting positive interactions and managing any potential conflicts or behavioral issues that may arise Maintain a clean and organized daycare facility, including indoor and outdoor play areas Provide food, water, and medication as instructed by pet owners, adhering to specific dietary and medical requirements Engage dogs in stimulating activities, such as playtime, walks, and basic training exercises Monitor dogs for signs of stress, illness, or injury, and promptly report any concerns Maintain open and clear communication with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' well-being and addressing any questions or concerns Requirements:
Previous experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding, or similar environment is preferred Strong understanding of dog behavior, pack dynamics, and safe handling techniques Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to safely drive our transportation vehicles Passion for animals and a genuine love for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Excellent observation skills and the ability to identify signs of distress, illness, or aggression in dogs Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with pet owners and team members effectively Physical stamina to handle dogs of various sizes, lift heavy objects, and perform cleaning duties as required Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Job Type:
