- Greet and check-in patients in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update information as necessary - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar setting preferred - Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in using computer software for scheduling appointments and managing patient records Note:
Experience working in an emergency room (ER) is a plus, but not required.
