Responsibilities:
Shift supervisor to Front of House (FOH) staff; union ushers, bar staff and volunteers.
Providing guests with exceptionally warm, efficient and equitable experiences.
To be an informed liaison to FOH staff, box office, stage crew and patrons; Distilling the requirements for each shift into actionable tasks, briefing and managing staff and volunteers on the execution of those tasks, Communicating and collaborating well with Stage Management to ensure on-time performances and support where needed, Communicating and collaborating well with the Box Office to ensure quick resolution of patron seating issues or special needs.
To resolve patron/visitor issues, leveraging solid de-escalation practices, with warmth and authentic care.
To align with behavioral policies designed to promote an inclusive and diverse culture.
To undergo training to understand how we promote an actively; Anti racist; Anti sexist; Anti homophobic; Anti transphobic and; Anti Abelist culture within our spaces.
Overseeing the execution of, and adherence to, COVID and other safety policies and procedures.
Managing concessions staff and banks, completing accurate per-performance financial reports/deposits.
Completing a per-performance House Manager Report to communicate opportunties, issues.
To raise opportunities for improvement, issues and ideas for resolution with a collaborative and forthcoming approach.
To be available for regular evening and weekend work, as well as occasional weekday morning work.
QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications or Basic
Qualifications:
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Experience working in a theater, audience management, or large-scale events settings.
Demonstrated customer service experience where de-escalation, empathy, strong verbal and listening skills were excercised.
Basic mastery of Outlook and Excel, general familiarity with POS systems and an apptitude to learn other technology as needed - training will be provided.
Simple accounting with emphasis on accurate preparation and maintenance of financial records, daily reports and deposits.
Training in Event Safety, First Aid, CPR and AED knowledge are a plus - Training will be provided.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to respond quickly both mentally and physically in order to handle competing requests, complaints, emergencies and other high pressure situations that might arise.
Agile up and down staircases.
Able to lift at least 35 lbs (stanchions, program boxes, ticket stands, etc.
).
Ability to see well while moving in a darkened theater.
Ability to assist others physically in an evacuation scenario.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
