About the Role The Old Navy Photo Studio Digital Technician is responsible for creating and delivering video and photo assets that support the e- commerce site for Old Navy.
This person is an extremely positive, bright, highly professional and communicative Computer, Color and Imaging Expert and as such is a key support person in this department.
Expert knowledge of photo equipment and digital maintenance is crucial.
You have attention to detail and are able to see beyond the immediate needs to keep the studio running in a smooth and efficient manner.
What You'll Do Photo On and off set technical expert for the On-Figure photography workflow.
Collect, edit and process all digital images captured for OF photography.
To include On Figure and Marketing Photography.
Support the photography process and ensure the imagery being created is accurate and error-free.
Responsible understanding and supporting technical & automated solutions.
Responsible for first line of support for all computers (desktop), network support (wired and wireless) at main On-Figure studio.
Train and support Freelance Digital Technicians and assist in keeping the Digital Technician guide up to date.
Effectively communicate business needs and issues to business partners.
On set Quality Assurance and color analysis expert Manage the accuracy and consistency of the image capture process.
Define and oversee the photography asset creation process.
Ensure that the assets are captured and stored in the correct manner to assure efficient workflow.
Manage equipment inventory and expendable restocking.
Manage inventory and deliveries (hard drives for Marketing, interdepartmental equipment transfers, courier planning and prep).
Video Support all video previews, edit and share outs for all channels.
Support final video distribution for all channels.
Establishes best practices for media management and workflows.
Optimize video quality for all channels.
Assist the DP on set in video manipulation which can include camera settings, resolution, frame rates, aspect ratio or codecs.
Care for the video equipment on set.
Maintenance Oversee all photography equipment and storage (still/video), lighting and grip equipment, and studio accessories.
Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance and maintain all workstations (monitor calibration; automations etc) Manage the image reformatting system (PNGr).
Maintain NAS archival systems for various photography and video types (PPOF Photography and Video, PPLD Photography, Marketing Photoshoots, and Marketing Video productions.
Who You Are Skills/Experience Proven experience in a Photography Studio or Creative Production environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of digital photographic equipment.
Familiarity with technical aspects of photography, videography, and lighting.
Prior experience with photo capture workstations and automation systems for image processing.
Understanding of the use and configuration of Capture One Software Ability to troubleshoot technical and/or mechanical issues.
Familiarity with inventory management.
Proficiency with digital archiving systems and data management.
Strong familiarity with calibration of set monitors and other related tasks.

Salary Range:
$68,200 - $86,900 USD Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.
We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
