Do you love everything feline? Have you had cats in your life but wanted more? Do you watch endless cat videos? Would it be cool to be in a world full of crazy cat videosbut this time as a participant instead of just a voyeur? Cat Folx SF is currently looking for self-professed (and professional!) Cat Folx to join the team in the San Francisco metro area.
If you are looking for a rewarding part-time position where your clients are all purry and furry this just might be the position for you.
Cats do better with routine and a stable environment so we care for them in their own homes.
The position is ideal as a second job or for additional income.
The position is part-time and flexible.
Some weeks will be busier than others, all depending on our clients needs.
You will be assigned different sits based on our agreed schedule.
We do our best to match you with repeating clients so that you can foster a close and rewarding relationship with the kitties you care for.
A win-win-win for us, you and our clients - especially the feline ones.
We are looking for someone available every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
If you are available other days as well, all the better.
Our Cat Sitters earn competitive pay of $23 per 35 minute visit and $37 per 60 minute visit in the San Francisco area.
You are paid extra on major holidays.
The number of sits you're provided with depends on the demand in your location.
There is much more demand on weekends and during holidays.
You will be required to be in town and available in July and August and over the winter holidays.
CAT FOLX GIVE EXTRAORDINARY CAT CARE We will give preference to applicants that have or have had their own cat(s).
You are a Cat purrson, obviously, but you are also a people purrson.

Every time you visit another feline friend, you can't believe you found such a fabulous part-time job.
At each scheduled cat sitting visit, you follow the instructions given by the client using our in-house booking and customer service system.
You perform the prescribed care with attention to detail according to what your client has outlined.
We always feed kitty, clean bowls, provide fresh water, scoop (the poop) and clean the litter box at every visit.
We also send our clients an update every time we visit that includes photos and notes about how kitty is doing.
Other tasks may include cleaning up after any accidents, administering medications, sweeping tracked litter and removing all pet related trash.
You may also be asked to do some auxiliary housesitting tasks such as retrieving mail and packages.
What we need from you:
Proven experience caring for cats (professional experience NOT required) Calm, Assertive energy High level of customer service nous Possess a smartphone that has internet access to download apps as well as texting and camera capabilities Organized, systematic and reliable A problem solver, not a problem seeker (purr more, hiss less) Ability to handle unexpected and emergency situations with confidence Ability to pass a criminal background screening and reference check Must be comfortable using apps on your phone as all communications with both clients and management are done on the fly, on your phone Certification in pet first aid/CPR or any experience with administering oral medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids, ointments, and other medications is a BIG plus but not required.
There will be training provided.
FLEXIBLE CAT SITTING WORK This is a great flexible side job! It is great for those with unconventional availability and part time students or workers.
You must be available on Sundays between 2-8pm, Monday and Tuesday all day every week.
If you have availability for other days we can discuss what this might look like for you.
We provide consistency of visit times because cats love routine.
The visit windows are AM 6am-10am, Lunchtime 11am-3pm, PM 4-8pm.
It is up to you to organize when you do your visits as long as you arrive within the visit window assigned to you.
ABOUT CAT FOLX SF Our sitters drop in for a minimum of 35 minutes at a time, we also offer double length and triple length visits and sometimes overnight stays may be available.
We pride ourselves in our customer service and promise to our clients that we will treat their purry family members as if they were our own.
We care for cats across a wide spectrum of purrsonalities, ages, and temperaments.
Not all cats are the same and we care for them each in their own unique ways.
Some cats will love to play, others will not.
Some cats are friendly, some are not.
We never put expectations on how our purry friends will act.

We are there to care for them according to their guardian's instructions.
