Summary:
Per Diem Variable Position-Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week $32.
18 per hour Duties Safe, accurate, timely and responsive patient food service.
Food service includes stocking, assembling, and serving portion controlled hot and cold food, replenishing and stocking stations, and sanitation duties.
Patient Food Services includes assembly and delivery of patient meal trays.
This position may be responsible for responsible for cash, credit card and debit card transactions.
This person maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the foodservice areas and equipment.
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer, patient, and staff interactions and is looked upon as the ambassador for the department of Nutrition and Food Services.
Required
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent A minimum of 2 year of customer facing experience within the food service, hospitality or retail industries Read, write, follow written or oral instructions and to be understood in English.
Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations Ability to meet physical demands involved with job duties Skills:
Understanding of food safety protocols Experience as a dietary aide is a plus Ability to handle food safely and hygienically Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
