, a popular buy-sell-trade retailer with stores throughout the country, is looking for full-time and part-time Security Associates! Do you have experience working in Loss Prevention and/or Security? Are you looking for a Security role with stable, day-time hours that allows for a work-life balance? Do you enjoy interacting with the public in a customer service environment while maintaining a harmonious and pleasant shopping atmosphere? If so, this may be the job for you! Responsibilities Cultivate a harmonious store environment and strong visual presence at the entrance/exit through courteous greeting and professional interactions with customers and teammates Maintain a safe and respectful store environment by consistently monitoring the sales floor, circulating the store regularly, and identifying any potential safety issues in a timely manner Greet customers and maintain a friendly but secure presence that helps prevent internal and external theft Identify and address theft indicators and/or safety concerns; may respond to emergencies and assist in evacuations Communicate all safety concerns and suspicious activity to store management and work together to find solution to maintain a harmonious shopping environment at all times Qualifications Previous or transferrable experience related to Security, Safety and/or Loss Prevention Friendly, enjoys interacting with people and comfortable in a customer service based environment Demonstrates a high level of respect, empathy, and courtesy in all interactions A calm head when dealing with safety issues, with a focus on de-escalation techniques as needed Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on the company Safety and Security guidelines Able to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, and law-enforcement Good judgment, flexibility, integrity, and collaboration Background in customer service or retail a plus DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) awareness, sensitivity, and training a plus; you will encounter diverse populations in our stores and must remain sensitive and respectful at all times Must be able to stand / walk sales floor for several hours at a time Must be comfortable working in a public setting during the COVID-19 pandemic, and must be willing and able to enforce policies as they relate to the COVID-19 safety protocols Guard Card preferred Company Overview At Crossroads, we want you to show up as your authentic self; this means bringing all of the characteristics that make you you.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
