- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance abuse - Assist clients in developing and implementing relapse prevention strategies - Conduct regular check-ins and monitor progress towards sobriety goals - Collaborate with treatment teams to develop individualized recovery plans - Offer crisis intervention and support during challenging times - Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and empower clients - Provide addiction counseling and education on coping skills and healthy behaviors - Assist clients in navigating behavioral health systems and accessing necessary resources - Serve as a mentor and role model for individuals in recovery Skills:
- Crisis management skills to effectively handle high-stress situations - Proficient in mental health counseling techniques and interventions - Knowledge of behavioral health systems and resources - Strong understanding of addiction counseling principles and practices - Ability to conduct motivational interviewing to promote positive change - Excellent mentoring skills to guide individuals towards personal growth and recovery - Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies for immediate support - Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and treatment teams We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Sober Coach to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, or social work.
