Senior Manager, Risk & Investor Analytics

About the Role:
Upgrade is looking for a Senior Manager to oversee our Risk & Investor Analytic.
In this role, you will be working with our Risk Management and Investor teams to review and enhance Upgrades underwriting practice to deliver investor target yields.
This is a hybrid role, 2-3 times per week in our San Francisco, reporting to our Senior Director, Credit Risk.
What Youll Do:
Work closely with Risk Management team to review and enhance Upgrades underwriting practice (strategy, credit policy, and model use) to deliver investor target yields.
Collaborate with Upgrade's Capital Markets (Investor) team to communicate product, segment and credit policy changes to loan buyers and institutional investors.
Monitor credit profile and return/risk performance across products (Personal Loans, Card, Auto, Home Improvement, Travel BNPL) and communicate insights.
Support periodic reporting to executive management, Credit Risk Committee and Upgrade Investor Team.
Back-test credit strategies using historical performance and review impact of credit expansion/tightening.
Develop loss forecasts to reflect credit policy and/or segmentation changes.
Obtain subject matter expertise in internal and external data sources and ensure data integrity.
What We Look For:

years of experience in analytics, preferably consumer credit risk Bachelors/Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematical Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field Excellent communicator with the ability to discuss / present complex issues in a simple manner Proactive, driven, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good judgment and excellent interpersonal skills Detail oriented and strong analytic skill set Advanced experience in SQL Hands-on experience with Python, R or SAS Experience with Tableau and/or other BI/data visualization tools a plus Fintech lender/Structured finance experience a plus Willingness to travel (up to 10% of the time) Upgrade is looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Credit & Investor Analytics team in San Francisco.
In this role, you will be working with our Credit Risk team, as well other cross-functional stakeholders on reviewing and maintaining Upgrades credit policy, strategy and model use across our diverse suite of products.

2-5 years of experience in analytics, preferably consumer credit risk Bachelors/Master's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematical Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field Strong programming skills in Python and/or R Advanced experience in SQL Experience with Tableau or other BI/data visualization tools Detail oriented and strong analytical skill set Proactive, driven, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Fintech lender experience preferred What We Offer You:

Within this range, an individuals base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
