Director of Product DesignHealth Tech Remote 180,000 - 240,000 Base
Stock Options & Great BenifitsInterested in joining a rapidly growing, innovative health tech startup helping change the shape of healthcare in the US through a AI- enabled virtual care platform connecting patients, Doctors and other healthcare professionals?You will be working closely with cross-functional team; the design lead partnering with product, Engineering, Marketing and directly with consumers to identify pain points, while overseeing and growing a team of talented designers; product, visual, creative and UX.
Responsibilities:
Establish comprehensive design team goals and roadmaps in alignment with business objectivesFacilitate cross-functional collaboration across business unitsConduct user research and develop deep user empathy and insightsInstill core design thinking and innovation methodologies across the organizationMaintain sharp product instinct with user-centricity at the coreCommunicate and influence user-centric solutions with stakeholdersCollaborate with leadership on requirements, and engage with key stakeholders to incorporate feedback
Qualifications:
Typically requires 9
years experience leading and managing design and product teams and working cross functionallyExcellent visual design and IxD skills, and experience creating polished UI/UX products5
years expertise designing digital products in the healthcare industry; EHR experience or Chronic Care experience is the preferenceExceptional leadership and team management skills Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar In-depth knowledge of design principles, trends, and technologiesBachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field; Master's degree is a plusAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentCompetencies:
