About the job As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for several high impact/visible product deliveries in the Android framework. You will work closely with essentially all of the Product teams (Pixel, TV, Wear, etc.), App teams (Chrome, YouTube, Camera, GMail, Meet, etc.), and external partners/app developers on every release of Android in designing and implementing Android Framework features required for their use cases.Android is Google's open-source mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. Design and build system-level windowing framework functionality to support new features and capabilities across multiple API surfaces.Give developers the APIs and tools they need to create polished applications for Large Screen and Foldable devices.Provide guidance on practical application development.Work with hardware product teams to ship the next generation of Google and Android devices.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
