University of California, San FranciscoThe Department of Pathology and the Breast Oncology Program at the University of California San Francisco seeks an outstanding physician-scientist for a full-time faculty position with research, teaching, and clinical responsibilities at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor Level in the tenure-track (Ladder Rank) or In-Residence series. The successful candidate will direct an independent basic or translational research program in the molecular pathology of breast cancer, including breast cancer diagnostics and risk assessment. The successful candidate will have a track record of innovative accomplishment in basic/translational research in breast cancer and an interest in working within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, including ongoing initiatives and activities in the UCSF Breast Oncology Program. The candidate will have or seek to develop a robust portfolio of extramural grant support. The successful candidate will be proposed for membership in the Biomedical Science (BMS) Graduate Program. Additional duties will include departmental and university teaching for graduate students, medical students, house-staff and fellows, and clinical service, preferably in Breast Pathology, that is commensurate with the individual's qualifications and interests.The successful candidate must possess an MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent), be Board Certified or Board eligible in Anatomic Pathology at the time of appointment, and must have or be eligible for a medical license in California at the time of appointment. Individuals with a documented record of grant support are highly desirable. Applicants' materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. . The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $112,500 - $377,200. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
