New Product Introduction Program Manager

Microsoft s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth.

CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
We are looking for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Material Program Manager (MPM) to join our team.
This position will be responsible for managing long lead materials such as Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBAs), CPUs, cables and Networking components.
Microsoft NPI MPMs work across our Engineering, Sourcing and Operations teams to ensure new products are released on time.
We also help Manufacturing partners meet schedules for pilots and make sure elements are in place to ensure a successful transition to full production.
Key activities include capturing pilot requirements and working directly with our Manufacturing partners to ensure materials, tooling and test fixtures meet the schedule.
Also, as part of our growth path, this position s focus will include process definition and improvement.

years experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, program management, hardware development, or consumer electronicsOR equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related area.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

S.
is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.

Meet regularly with assigned suppliers to review forecasts, capture supply commitments and publish internally.
Coordinate internally with Engineering, Sourcing and Capacity Planning to ensure new products are properly forecasted.
Manage metrics including days of supply, E&O, shortages within lead time and inventory exposure at each supplier to improve performance.
Support the transition from pilot to growth to assure elements like Bill of Materials (BOMs), and forecasts are in place to drive long lead materials.
Develop risk analysis to compare pre-positioning of inventory against design change possibilities to reduce liability and assure supply.
Perform scenario analysis to understand impact of component shortages and demand changes to our overall supply plan.
Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross functional teams to improve tools and process to better meet our global demands.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
