The Role:
We are seeking an experienced communications leader to help build brand awareness of SoFi and its consumer products across banking, investing, lending, and other personal finance offerings.
The Director of Communications (Consumer Products) will partner closely with our brand, product marketing, social, and creative teams to conceive, develop, and implement programs that attract attention and build trust.
This role requires a deep understanding of cultural trends and the ever-evolving media landscape to help SoFi stand out in a crowded environment and fulfill its mission.
Key
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement consumer-facing communication programs that support SoFi's mission and business objectives.
Craft data-driven insights and compelling stories that resonate with our target audiences.
Employ measurement techniques to assess the impact of communication strategies and adjust tactics accordingly.
Maintain an extensive, up-to-date knowledge of the media ecosystem and how to maximize investments across owned, earned, and paid.
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior-level executives, providing insights and recommendations on communication strategies.
Bridge the gap between strategic planning and execution, ensuring seamless implementation of communication initiatives as part of creative marketing programs.
Qualifications:
At least 10-12 years of experience in communications, with a strong preference for work on behalf of innovative,consumer-facing brands.
Proven track record of generating earned media and enhancing brand reach in crowded environments.
Strong relationships with reporters, editors, and producers.
Strong understanding of data and analytics in communications, from storytelling to impact measurement.
Experience in working within complex, matrixed organizations and managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Bachelor's degree.
Compensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this role is listed below.
Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
