Finance Business Partner, Strategic Initiatives

Responsibilities:
Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses.
Advise senior leadership on aspects of capitalization, such as amounts, sources, or timing.
Acts as an advisor on business and financial planning, including strategic planning.
Drives policy and program matters with leadership recommending appropriate actions consistent with strategic direction of the company and organization.
Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to leadership.
Monitors adherence to approved budget.
Be the strategic business partner for senior leadership on large strategic initiatives.
Develop and implement frameworks enhancing ROI analysis and spend categorization across the operations organization.
Partner with other Finance Business Partners across our operations organization to standardize and improve our spend analysis and ROI process and documentation.
Demonstrate strong grasp of accounting principles related to software capitalization.
Build and maintain a financial model forecasting long-range project spend and P&L impacts.
Ensure project and program changes are validated, and financial impacts approved by business and finance leadership.
Analyze actual spending against budget/forecast.
Manage the quarterly close process, including quarter-end accruals.
Drive continuous process improvements to achieve more efficient results.
Work with business leaders to establish annual budgets to achieve objectives within budget.
Manage, prepare, administer, and direct control of the budget.
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Finance, Business, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a financial analyst-related occupation.

Special Requirements:
Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:
Experience using valuation skills and establishing and maintaining complex financial models including LBO (Leveraged Buyout) model, DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) model, etc.
Experience utilizing in-depth knowledge of investment metrics and concepts including Return on Investment (ROI), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), etc.
Experience with building up presentation decks using PPT and add-on visualization tools, including preparing investment deck, board deck, and other summary decks for different audiences.
Experience with due diligence capabilities including investigating on new investments (vendor, service, product) and leading due diligence efforts for financing.
Experience with research capabilities including industry research, market sizing, competitive landscape analysis, etc.
Position also requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:
Experience with advanced Excel skills including VBA, pivot table, v-lookup, etc.
Experience utilizing financial systems including Oracle Essbase and SAP.
Experience with advanced three-statement (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) financial modeling skills for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning purposes.
Experience with benchmarking company's IT and other types of spend across industry.

-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $148,305 - $170,600/year.
Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location.
In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
