We are seeking TWO reliable and passionate Dog Walkers to join our team, one part-time and one-full time.
As a Dog Walker, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of dogs and provide them with the exercise and care they need.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors.
Duties:
- Drive company vehicle to pick up / drop off dogs from their homes - Walk up to 8 dogs off leash, ensuring they get the exercise they need - Reinforce basic training during walks - Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs at all times - Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly - Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to manager - Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding feeding, medication, or special care - Maintain accurate records of each walk, including distance, duration, and any notable observations Requirements:
- CLEAN DRIVING RECORD - Ability to pass background check - Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred - Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments - Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is a plus - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dog owners and colleagues - Physical fitness to handle long walks and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Pay:
$20-23/hr DOE, Paid Sick Time, Paid Time Off, Employees also have the opportunity to housesit for clients (earning an extra $95/nt) on occasion.
