Position descriptionUCSF School of Medicine Department of PediatricsInvestigators in Pediatric ResearchThe Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is recruiting faculty candidates for its Program in Pediatric Research. These positions will support investigators across the translational science spectrum, including basic, translational, and clinical research. Successful candidates will have a track record of outstanding research accomplishments and extramural funding. This program seeks to attract early stage, mid-career, and senior researchers and provides a generous start-up package. Appointments will be made at the Assistant, Associate or Professor rank in the Clinical X or In Residence series. The Department s clinical enterprise is based at UCSF Benioff Children s Hospitals, among the ten largest children s health care providers in the country with a combined 373 beds, over 200,000 ambulatory visits annually, and outreach clinics throughout Northern California, providing the Department with an unsurpassed opportunity to meet the needs of infants, children, and young adults throughout the Bay Area. Nestled in a dynamic and unique geography distinguished by unprecedented innovations in technology, UCSF and the Department of Pediatrics are able to bring research and industry together to advance health. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5: . The minimum base salary range for this position is $115,100-$305,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan () which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
