JOB DETAILSThe Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) seeks an outstanding candidate specializing in Breast Pathology to join its internationally recognized team.

Opportunity HighlightsQualified candidates must hold an MD (or its equivalent), have or be eligible for a valid California Medical License, and be either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology with fellowship training or equivalent clinical experience/expertise in Breast PathologyOpportunity to devote 100% of clinical effort to breast pathologyThe breast specialty service manages a diverse and complex spectrum of breast pathology specimensThe UCSF immunohistochemistry lab offers a wide array of biomarkers and continually adds emerging onesThe UCSF Clinical Cancer Genomics Lab runs targeted gene sequencing, microsatellite instability testing, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and a 500

The total negotiated salary and appointment rank for this position will include the base salary plus the negotiated component, determined at the time of the offer and commensurate with the applicant s experience and training.
