About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Financial Services Pricing Leader to oversee and optimize our pricing strategies for Upgrade's products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing models, analyzing competitor pricing strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive revenue growth and profitability.
What You ll Do:
Develop and execute pricing strategies for our Travel product.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, customer preferences, and competitor pricing strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, finance, credit, and data analytics, to develop pricing models that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth.
Partner with the accounting team to understand financial reporting and accounting considerations from pricing strategies.
Monitor and analyze pricing performance metrics, including margin analysis, and pricing effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the Commercial team on pricing negotiations with strategic partners to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to inform pricing strategy decisions and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Drive innovation in pricing methodologies and tools to enhance pricing capabilities and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
What We Look For:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field;5-7 years of experience in financial services pricing, with a strong understanding of pricing methodologies, pricing analytics, and financial modeling.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence key stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the fintech or financial services industry is preferred.
Proficiency in pricing tools and software, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
