As an analytics engineer, you will work directly with the growth team to understand the ever-growing data needs, then turn them into a scalable/repeatable data processing framework.
You will work closely with our engineering team to understand our holistic data platform and data architect.
You will help push the boundaries on how data is leveraged for decision-making, and support the next generation of data initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain ETL data pipelines to support growth marketing investmentDesign, develop, and implement data model and pipelines in a scalable and optimal data architect using SQL, python, and big data technologies.
Assemble large and complex datasets from various data sources into formats that can be effectively utilized by growth analysts and growth marketersAutomate manual process, and optimize internal/external data delivering pipelinesIdentify data processing improvement, re-design data infrastructure, and implement the optimizationsDevelop highly governed growth data with clear definitions, manage it closely for quality and changes, and ensure data accessibility at all timesBuild analytics tools that utilize data pipelines to assist analytics team in building industry leading data products on reporting and measurement Collaborate with internal business stakeholders on how data can be leveraged to meet business goalsPartner with internal engineering team on data-related technical issues and our data infrastructure needs, and work with external vendors on data-related products, and reportsYour Background:

years of experience working in roles as an analytics engineer, data engineer, data architect, data scientist, and business intelligence engineer, who has attained a graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or similar quantitative fields.
Highly analytical, agile, and believe in iterative development approachAdvanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Experience designing, building and optimizing data pipelines, and architectures at large scale and extreme complexity.
Experience performing root cause analysis on both internal and external data processes to answer specific business oriented questions and identify opportunities for improvementExperience with PythonA successful history of working on ETL or ELT, data structures, data model, metadata, and workflow management tools (Working experience with DBT, Databricks or similar tools is a plus)Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment (Supporting performance marketing/growth experience is a huge plus)Hands-on experience on Spark and AWS cloud services like EC2 and Redshift is a plusFamiliarity with data visualization tools like Periscope, Tableau, Looker, or anything similar is a plus#LI-RemotePursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below.
