Overview
Topgolf Media is looking for a hands-on, Sr./Lead Game Server Engineer (C#/.NET) who loves taking on technical challenges. Bring your server development experience, desire for significant tech ownership and passion for collaboration. You will be leading and working with other engineers in extending the depth and quality of our web and mobile golf game experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and debug game server code (C#/.NET)
Deploy, evaluate performance, optimize and test software on server
Collaborate with other internal departments (front-end development, production, design, QA)
Document software and features for internal and external engineering teams
Mentor and collaborate with engineering team to improve and extend the existing code base
Key Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5
years of C# or other OOP programming language
Excellent problem solving skills and judgment
Proficient in debugging and performance optimizations
Highly-motivated self-starter with a passion for making high quality software
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong sense of ownership and drive
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with ability to interact with cross-departmental groups
Pluses:
Experience developing in .NET server environments
Sports fan
