Editorial Content Coordinator

Exceptionally organized, with experience building and maintaining an editorial calendar/workflow
Intensely focused on efficiency. If there are any blockers in our content roadmap, it will be your job to remove them and implement a smoother process for our team of writers and editors
Experienced at sourcing, editing and publishing digital content that moves readers in some tangible way to explore related content, take action, share insights with friends and family or interact with relevant products or services
Data-Driven. You love to dig into performance analytics
Proactively communicative. This position requires frequent alignment with our social media, PR, marketing and legal teams
What You'll Do:
Create tools and processes to maximize editorial efficiency and organization
Implement and manage a robust editorial calendar
Keep track of a steady flow of content and update stages on a daily basis. If an editor or writer needs to know the status of a particular piece of content, you'll be the go-to source
Establish best practices for aligning editorial content with the demands of legal, business development and other internal teams
Add significant value to Credit Karma content through effective communication with writers, strict attention to regulatory and compliance requirements and rock-solid ability to elevate content quality
Leverage data and analytics to assess content performance and work closely with the managing editor to apply these learnings
Serve as a vital partner to our social and community team to maximize content promotion. We believe publishing doesn't end our conversation with readers it's just the beginning

What We Expect:
Experience managing and organizing an editorial workflow in a newsroom or digital-first content environment

Our Ideal Candidate:
2-4 years of editorial or content marketing experience, whether as a writer, editor, or content coordinator
A Bachelor's degree that emphasizes a love of language and well-above-average proficiency in written English. That might be Journalism, English, Communications/Marketing, Public Relations or something similarly relevant
Prior experience in financial services journalism or content creation in a highly regulated environment
Basic SEO knowledge
Familiarity with an analytics platform such as Google Analytics
Experience with AP style
