Consulting Project Technical Manager

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle's solution meets the customer's objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle's methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle's risk and exposure. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for effective project delivery on small to medium engagements. Provides direction and mentoring to project team. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of medium sized projects including the recovery of remedial projects.
8-10 years of experience relevant to this position. Prior project team leadership or management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.

Summary:
Therole of the Technical Project Manager (TPM) requires an experienced projectmanagement professional with strong business acumen, technical competency inSaaS-based software and leadership skills for successful delivery of OracleMarketing Cloud digital marketing solutions (software services).
TheTPM works closely with Oracle Marketing Cloud Digital Services delivery teams,Solution Architects, Sales, Customer Success Managers, and Services Operations toensure customer technology deployments & projects are delivered on time,within budget and according to the project plan scope. The TPM will also identifyand mitigate any risks throughout the project(s) s/he manages.
General
Responsibilities:
Works under the supervision of the PMO Director in cross-pillar solution deployment projects (campaign, creative, technical services, strategy, expert services) involving single or multiple work streams.
Understands customer requirements and helps translate them into project deliverables and milestones.
Responsible for customer project governance, stewardship, financial management and project planning.
Owns the creation and updating of relevant project documentation including:
Customer Project Plan
Change Management Process
Risk Mitigation Plan
Project Budget
Project Status Reporting
Project Schedules & Meeting Logistics
Manages successful project closure and hand-off processes.
Must maintain a > 65% billable utilization
Project Team Ownership:

Must be able to manage a cross-functional teams from different Oracle Departments.
Demonstrates diplomacy and ability to manage demanding customers.
Demonstrates leadership and motivational skills and mentors other members of the PMO.
Actively contributes to continuous PMO improvements and publishes contributions to the knowledge base.
CANDIDATE PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS
Education/
Experience:
7 years of Program/Project Management experience in delivering SaaS-based solutions preferably in Digital Marketing, Customer Experience, CRM, ERP, and/or Advertising
Formal Program/Project Management training & certification required or in pursuit of CAPM/PMP certification.
Understanding of project financial and budgetary principals.
Bachelor's degree in a related field a plus.
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of the Oracle Marketing Cloud platform with familiarity of other digital marketing platforms & customer experience cloud-based solutions.
Functionally astute in using project management software (MS project, Excel, Visio) other analytical and statistical software packages and tools.
Communication Skills:
Should be a strong influencer with the ability to garnerbuy-in and support from non-direct reports and external stakeholders. Strongescalation management skills in the event of contentions issues or riskmitigation. Must have strong presentation skills including excellent oral andwritten communication skills.
Travel (AllLevels):
Must be able to travel approximately 15-25% of the time.
