Right now, we are seeking an Application Architect, based at our location in San Francisco, California.
Application Architect for Western Union (San Francisco, CA) - Perform developments and enhancements of company's software applications, APIs and platforms. Design, develop, and integrate software solutions based on business requirements and objectives. Work closely with business users and business analysts to understand the functionality and propose creative solutions to meet business needs. Perform object-oriented analysis, design, and programming of web based applications. Collaborate with application architect to ensure software solutions adhere to the architectural vision. Produce detailed technical design document including integration specs, conducting reviews with key stakeholders and associated tradeoffs, and working closely with application development teams.
Requirements include Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field; and 5 years progressive, post-Bachelor's experience as a Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer or related software developer occupation; which must include some experience with RESTful web services; Micro-services architecture; Java/J2EE; SOA; JQuery; AngularJS; Node JS; API Gateway; SOAP & JSON; Javascript; ExtJS; DOJO; HTML; XML; XSLT; EJB; Struts; Spring; Hibernate; Web Logic Server; WebSphere Applications Server; WebSphere Process Server; Oracle; NoSQL DB; WINSCP; Putty; Eclipse; ClearCase; HP ALM; HP LoadRunner; Adobe CQ5; Perforce; SVN; Maven; Jenkins; JIRA; Confluence; and Dynatrace.
