Role Summary/Purpose
We are looking for an expert Data Scientist to join our world-class team. We are seeking individuals with strong backgrounds in statistics, machine learning and computer science who have demonstrated success in building data-driven applications. On our team, you will be in charge of building ML applications to solve targeted problems in industrial and healthcare use cases.
Essential Responsibilities
You will be given the freedom to dive deeply into a variety of technologies and explore cutting-edge ML approaches. You will have the full power of our proprietary, patented machine learning technologies at your disposal as well as the support of our talented Data Science Team, which consists of several PhDs and ex-professors from top-tier universities.
In short, by joining our team you'll be immersed in a start-up culture that is backed by the resources of a Fortune 15 company with access to some of the most valuable and compelling data in existence. You'll work with some of the top minds in statistics and ML to build and deploy high-value applications on top of that data.

Qualifications:
Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science or related field
Eligibility Requirements:
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.

Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Francisco, CA
Must be willing to travel roughly 10% of the time
