Job Summary JOB OVERVIEW
This position serves as the Facilities Director, Environment, Health & Safety Department (EH&S), UCSF Fresno. The Director of Facilities directs and oversees facility and plant operations. Oversees and manages construction, renovation projects, and space planning. Manages and maintains the work order and preventative maintenance programs. Manages contracted security officers, skilled-trades, groundskeepers and housekeepers. Direct EH&S programs in the fields of Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, General Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Hazardous Material, Management responsibilities include:
interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Five to seven years of experience in facilities management
Experience and knowledge to inspect construction in progress (general and specialty structures)and read, sketch and interpret plans and specifications
Broad knowledge in the areas of facilities management, space planning and allocation, security, fire and safety and emergency preparedness
Strong skills to facilitate and collaborate with various internal and external constituencies on short- and long -term facilities planning and management
Strong analytical, research and report preparation skills to meet regulatory and budgetary reporting requirements
Strong skills in leadership, motivation of staff and team-building
Strong skills in management, regulatory compliance and operations planning
Strong skills in verbal and written communications

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
