Mulesoft was acquired by Salesforce in May of 2018 and is now the primary integration and API offering from Salesforce. MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform? is a leading solution for API-led connectivity that creates an application network of connected apps, data, and devices, both on-premises and in the cloud. When attempting to deliver a market leading platform, growth is limited by how much an organization can accomplish. But when there is an ecosystem of companies creating applications and solutions on top of a platform, growth is unlimited. About the Position:
The MuleSoft team at Salesforce is looking for an all-star Business Development Manager to create and drive success for our ISV partners. You will become an expert on the MuleSoft Technology Partner program and will be at the pulse of the company, working cross functionally with our Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Legal, and Sales teams. You will identify market leading software partnership solutions and manage the partner from the initial partner engagement through contract signing, and go to market plans. You will be one of the leaders that will increase the size of our ecosystem over the next 12 months.
This is a fast-paced, high-growth team - we are looking for a smart, driven, high-energy individual who is hungry to create tremendous impact and who wants to work alongside great people. We're looking for people who can show that they make great things happen wherever they go and whose references say things like "The best I've ever seen. I'd hire them again in a minute." Technical skills and understanding of the software infrastructure market are helpful but not required.
Position Deliverables:
30 Days
Learn MuleSoft products and current ISV partner ecosystem
Practice the pitch by participating in current partner meetings
60 Days
Analyze and explore partnerships with incoming partnership requests
Take ownership of defined list of current ISV partners
Create Go To Market Plan for existing partner
Build increased technical knowledge on MuleSoft products and partner integration points
Build expertise in assigned verticals and use cases
90 Days
Sign first partner
Manage go to market collateral and plan for existing partners
Work with sales on deal opportunities requiring partner collaboration
About You:
You must have a passion for building relationships that are mutually beneficial. Previous business development experience creating partnerships is a plus
Sales ability is highly desired since you will need to identify the value proposition for prospective partners. Examples of previous sales success and value proposition identification with creative solutions are desired.
Market understanding of enterprise software is required and specific areas of knowledge or technical experience in integration/middleware/API/Big Data/Analytics/SaaS experience is a plus
You have strong relationship-building skills, creativity, organizational skills, exceptional communication capabilities, strong multi-tasking ability, and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude
Internal cross-functional experience building relationships with marketing, product management, engineering, sales, and legal functions
Contract negotiation experience is a plus
Ability to multi-task and juggle several different projects simultaneously
He or she should have the intellectual horsepower to tackle a diverse set of requirements while specializing in driving projects to closure, time and time again with the track record to prove it

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
