JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
Greet guests entering and exiting facilityConduct interior and/or exterior foot patrolProduct recoveryCustomer Service skillsObserve and report activities at an assigned siteAbility to sit, stand and/or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift)Ability to work indoor and outdoor in a variable environmentClimb stairs, ladders, or ramps occasionally during shiftRespond quickly to critical situationsAbility to read and write detailed reportsEnforce procedure, regulation, and standards of clientOccasionally lift or carry up to 50 poundsOther duties as assigned by GardaWorld and client contract requirementsQualificationsSuccessful candidates must meet the following requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the United StatesAt least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirementsDemonstrate a stable work historyA valid California BSIS Guard Card 40 hours of BSIS training completion is preferredPass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)Must have one of the following:
Former or current military or law enforcement experience Post academy grad with certificationsCompleted 64 hours of Arrest and Firearms Course (PC 832)Possess a degree in Criminology or Administration of JusticeMust have permit for any two of the following:
OC sprayBaton TaserFirearms permit preferred but able to obtain after hire EducationCandidates must meet the following educational requirementsPossess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
