We're seeking a Director of Engineering to lead teams supporting our Sales Efficiency, Finance, and Compliance organizations.
In this role, you'll use technology to improve the effectiveness of our sales teams, create innovative experiences for our consignors, improve our consignor payouts and 'after the sale' experience, and work on exciting new projects! As TRR scales you'll tackle the organizational and technical challenges that come with a growing team and business volume.
You will be exposed to the latest technology and a data-driven culture while surrounded by a friendly, helpful team.
Growing the number of consignors and consignments will be your key success metric.
These challenges are at the core of The Company's business and this leader will have a significant impact on our roadmap and business success! This position is based in San Francisco, CA and will report to the Vice President of Engineering.

years managing engineering managersExperience with Ruby or ElixirStrong understanding of web-app performance fundamentals and related dev toolsStrong understanding of distributed systems designStrong database fundamentals and experience with MySQL or PostgresqlBachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent experienceNice to HavePrior fintech experiencePrior experience with Salesforce, which powers many consignor-related operationsPrior logistics experience, especially reverse logisticsPrior two-sided marketplace or e-commerce experienceStrong understanding of web technologies:
HTML5, Javascript, CSS/SASS, REST, JSON, Phoenix, ReactExperience with iOS or Android developmentPrior experience with business development and sales teams.
Mastery of git and Github workflows.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
