Your role at Sephora:

As the Project Manager, Design and Events you are a creative and organized leader with 3-5 years experience building and guiding world-class design and production teams in delivering innovative and globally recognized work for the Corporate Communications team. The Project Manager supports day-to-day operations and provides time sensitive support in all phases of pre-production, production, and post-production. In addition, you will:

  • Represent the Communications team as a through creative problem-solving, project management, branding, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Support, manage, and lead design production operations, including managing creative briefs, project kickoffs, scheduling, and timelines ensuring efficiency with work flow and processes
  • Maintain brand integrity across all internal communication and company marketing initiatives
  • Support the ideation, strategic planning and implementation of client initiatives
  • Run multiple weekly status meeting to go over scheduling of new projects, project updates, and any other production and post-production details to ensure creative and/or events is kept on track and all deadlines are met
  • Support all design deliverables from start to finish including:
    Digital Newsroom deliverables, signage and event materials, brand guides, recruitment kits, educational booklets, power point presentations and decks
  • Support all event deliverables from start to finish including:
    Client intake forms, building master project plans, managing timelines and event production from planning to execution
  • Responsible for meeting notes and recaps to key stakeholders
  • Assist communications team and department leads with all project logistics and requests
  • Track requests and deliverables for quarterly metrics report by departments
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external partners, as well as, outside vendors and agencies
  • Work with vendors from start to finish to receive pricing, specs, and final file delivery for small and large format printing and swag sourcing
  • Provide expert quality check before releasing files and/or project plans to client or print
  • Source vendors and freelancers based on project needs and budget
  • Create and manage project folders for design organization and archiving on multiple platforms; manage and oversee workflow related to final file delivery
  • Identify ways to increase productivity and quality
  • Maintain project management systems and software
  • Process and approve invoices; ensure proper authorization and coding for purchases; update budget tracking sheet and submit invoices and chargebacks; participate in the annual budgeting and planning process, monitor monthly progress and changes
  • Foster a spirit of collaboration, teamwork, innovation with internal and cross-functional teams

  • Minimum 3
    years of design production/project management experience
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in project management, design production or related field
  • Detail Oriented
  • Communicates clear and effectively, both written and oral
  • Moderate or advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management tools and software, Smartsheet, and Box.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Enjoys fast pace work atmosphere
