When the Stoneson Development Company built the St. Mary's Park neighborhood in the 1920s, the Stoneson brothers (who also built Stonestown Mall) saved the best two houses for themselves. We think this house made the cut because its light-filled, south-facing living room is great for entertaining, and because it has an unusually large yard for a home in San Francisco. Available now. (from walkscore.com). - Freeways: On the one hand, it takes less than 5 minutes to get to the 101 or 280 freeways. On the other, we don't hear the noise of the freeway at all. - BART: 10 minute walk. (easy access to SFO!) - Enviably close (1/2 block) to the St. Mary's Park recreation center (tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball) and the St. Mary's Park playground. - Playgrounds: St. Mary's Rec Center is super close. Holly Park is only a 5-10 minute walk. Dogs and cats considered. Please no aggressive breeds. Especially aggressive cats. Positively no mountain lions allowed.
